People I Interact With at Damien

Well, being at Damien has been quite an adventure for me so far... It seems like I want to go there all the time because there are many people there whom I consider friends. Going into Damien as a freshman, you realize that the first two or three weeks of the year, all the students in the classes are very quiet. Nobody knows anyone. Then over time, you realize, hey he was in my last class... Hey here he is in this class too? My god, this other guy in most of my classes and happens to sit next to me in each class. I later learned his name was Jared. Jared is the kind of guy who eats skittles all day... Because he does. Haha! His tongue is always a different color. Anyway, yes I have made some other friends there at Damien. Another friend is Carlos. Now, Carlos is the more quiet one, but he still knows how to have fun without getting in trouble. Yes, we all talk during Biology class when the teacher isn't usually putting notes on the board or telling us to work on something. Anyway, Carlos usually likes to talk about DS's and Golf. I mostly listen to the DS conversations because he usually has a different question about them each time he asks! I actually kind of like how somebody is asking advice from me though. I like being that kind of person to help. Haha I remember he told us that he lost his wallet on a golf course and it was full of the money he had saved up to buy a DS. I told him that he should go back and look in the lost and found. Jared turns to me and says, "yeah he can get back his wallet but with only like one dollar left in there because the finder felt pity for him." Carlos just laughs. So then, the next day in biology, Carlos shares that he went to lost and found, and found his wallet there with all the money inside! What a relief.(By the way, Jared is in my Biology, Spanish, World Geography, Algebra, and Religion class! He sits in front of me in most classes.) So Jared is my main friend. Now, In biology (My 0 period) the guy who sits in front of me is Tristan Wilson. He is slightly more quiet than Carlos. He is slightly shorter than me. Carlos is about his height, and Jared is taller than all of us. But not by too much. Anyway, Tristan will ALWAYS say after the morning prayer as we all sit down, "Amen Gabe". Because I started that. When the prayer is finished, we will both sit down and I used to say "Amen Tristan" as we sat down. Now he says it all the time. lol. But so onto more friends... Lets see there is... Hmmm... Well yeah there's more but these are the guys I interact with the most. Although Carlos and Tristan are only in my biology class, they are the ones that usually have something legit to talk about. Oh! I know. innn Spanish. There is a Trevor Carlson. Yeah he and I don't talk much, but when we do, its usually about something... odd. Like the last time we talked, we talked about well... Actually I honestly can't really hear him most of the time. Hahah :) I just agree with him. Like he's gunna be talking/whispering; I can't really hear him. So I just smile and nod. OH! He's usually talking about parties. Yeah or sometimes experiences that include a girl. Haha :D Aaaannd lets see... There's ummmm... There's Jonathan Saca. Yeah he always asks the MOST REDICULOUS QUESTIONS!! In biology, I'm sorry but he asks stupid questions. We all know he is doing this on purpose but sometimes he keeps asking these questions and then one time our biology teacher told him not to ask anymore. Hahah :D And he is also behind me in honors english. He will usually talk to his friend across from him; Forrest Fulgensi. Anyway, I'm done rambling... My main point is that these guys are like fun brothers! They're pretty cool. This is to you guys!

Mr. MONOPOLY for Halloween!

I decided to be Mr. Monopoly for Halloween. Hey Lauren, you going trick or treating this year????

I wonder...

What is free in life??? Have you heard of the saying "nothing in life is free"? I have been thinking about that phrase and I am wondering if there is something in life that is free? Is love free? Another saying is "you can't buy love" or " there's no price on love". Well, then, does that mean it is free? I don' think its free... I heard another saying; "love with love is repaid". Ok, so let me get this straight; love has no price and cannot be bought, and then, the only way to repay love is with love? Hmmm... Well then, I guess it is free to FALL in
love, but then love HAS to be repaid with another love. It is a "PUZZLEMENT"...(froM
the movie, "The King and I"). Well so then it is not free, but has to be given and repaid with itself!!! That's it!!!! Well, what is free then? Nothing? Air? Another person to keep you company? No... That's not it... Is it human interaction? Because we would go crazy without communication or interaction with another human... It's a need in the roots of the human mind, so it must be free! Well anyway, if I figure it out I'll post it! It's just something to ponder if you have some free time.. Because that's what I do! Haha! Well I shall ponder away!

Hearse Castle Near Pismo

I'm now in Pismo! I found internet access at our campground, so I will keep in touch here in our trailer! But anyway, I brought my camera that I won at the Jog-a-thon rally, and I took pictures of our tour at hearse castle!! This castle is HUUUUUGGGEE!!!!!!!!!!

To the right is a picture of the enormous property!! It takes 20 minutes on the tour bus that takes us up there, to get to the top of the thousands of acres of property!!!!!!!!

This is the main castle that is built with reinforced concrete made to withstand an 8.5 

earthquake!!!!! COOOL! This entire front of the bulding took around 7 YEARS to complete!!!! 

 We were walking on paths with real GOLD tiles!!!

These are pictures of the way up on the bus.  That log cabin is not open to the public, but it was the SHED!! Like a tool shed! But the estate was filled with animals from elephants to llamas to cheetas and lions!!! They're not visible  as much anymore, though. Mr. Hearse had the largest collection of animals in his own Zoo in the world!!!!!!!!!!  Even polar bears!! He once had Polar bears!! 

The estate was given to the public because it was too expansive for the inheriting family to manage!! Awesome!!!! Mr. Hearse had some 17 WIVES!!! ( That's just not right...   :/   ) How was he sooooo rich?????

Mr. Hearse owned 17 NEWSPAPERS, 2 MOVIE STUDIOS, HE OWNED METRO (MGM), AND 5 OTHER COMPANIES THAT I FORGOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my first day in Pismo was tight! How will tomorrow turn out?????????? Well, I'll bring my camera and post tomorrow!!

We're going to Pismo Beach!

Pismo??? This vacation I'm going to Pismo?????? I never thought about that place, but I guess I'm being too shallow? It could be fun, right? It could end up totally awesome. After all, it IS PISMO BEACH, RIGHT?? It actually sounds fun, now that I think about it... Maybe............. Ha ha, Yeah, and I almost forgot, we're going in our trailer! I'm not much of a fan for TRAILERS, only MOTOR HOMES!! Anyway, I don't know what exactly we'll be doing there, but I just hope I won't be doing activities that only my parents pick for us..... Like horseback riding.. I love horseback riding, but last time, we were almost attacked by a mother bear and her cubs! There was a tour in front of ours, and there was this bear with her cubs just walking around the area around the trail that the tours were supposed to be traveling!! Apparently, the mother bear was seeing horses and humans all day and was fed up with the tours watching her cubs, so she spooked the horses in the tour ahead of us! Meanwhile, we're traveling along when three horses start appearing ahead on the trail, and the tour guide stopped them.  Then I look at these horses coming into view, and then I'm like, "Holy smokes, man!! There aren't any riders on these horses!!", and there was nobody riding them! Later we found out that when we were helping to return the horses to their riders, all of the riders were fine, like no major injury, they were only launched of of their horses when the mother bear STOOD UP in less than 30 seconds growling!! There were only some scratches, but the tour ahead of us and well, our tour party; were all good! Just something that is somewhat scary.... But that's a story to remember.   So, anyway, I don't know about what were going to be doing at Pismo... With my family in a trailer, I just wish I could have been able to like invite a friend at least?? I could ask Andrew... As if I could invite any other friend....
